– 1/3 cup of coconut oil, 1/3 cup of cocoa, 1/6 cup maple syrup, 2oz pack of New Zealand Jerky.
Melt the coconut oil on low heat, remove from heat, add cocoa & maple syrup (& stir with a spoon to fully mix).
Cool the chocolate for a couple of minutes in the fridge, until thick & goopy consistency (might need to stir it up again)
Dip the jerky in chocolate & place on a small chopping board.
Place the chopping board in the freezer for 15 mins, or the fridge for 1/2 hr, until the chocolate solidifies.
Remove the chocolate jerky from the board & place on serving plate, or in container in the fridge pre-serving.
handy hint, for ease of removal from the board, I line the chopping board with a ziploc bag & placed the choc jerky on this. After chilling it pops right off…
Enjoy!
